• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A special package was delivered today from the Bombardier family.
Hey all, this is actually a pretty cool surprise. I had not expected it, and had believed it was only for you elite RT, RT-S Ryder's. But evidently I was mistaken.
In it, the embroidered cloth patch is very nice, & the two pin backed lacquer button is even nicer. It will be fun to hand someone asking questions, one of the Spyder explanation cards they included in this Spyder welcoming committee package.
Ah, but what took me completely off guard, and pleased most about, is the $50.00 gift card!!
That will pay for my 12 volt power adapter outlet... SWEET

And here I thought they at BRP had forgotten about me... ;-) Well Done, like my steak.
Thanks again Can Am... Hahahaha, this was unexpected but mucho gracias appreciated.

Another parts catalog too, great, I have nearly wore out my first copy.

I feel better now...got my 2014 RT Limited's welcome packet today in the mail in August! :D

Purchased my 2014 on January 23, 2014

Received welcome packet August 4, 2014 ????????? hmmmmmmmm???

Only took BRP 6 months 11 days to get it to me -- now that's customer service! :yikes::yikes::yikes:


When I bought our 2012 RT Limited, I think it only took a couple of months.

8 months and counting.
I did win a $50 BRP voucher on Friday evening at the Spyder open evening at our new Can Am dealers store, I'll be putting it towards my new jet ski package.

We purched our in March this year and haven't received ours either yet. Maybe it will arrive sooner rather than later? :pray:
 
I bought my 14'RTS-SE6 3 weeks( July 31, 2014) ago, I am still waiting for my BRP packet, and my B.E.S.T. Warranty paper/card.

2 weeks ago mike( Blueknight911) got his welcome packet in the mail, and he bought his 14RT in June,2014. Deanna777

I think it's only a special offer for thee gifted ones. I feel good about that too.
As I was not expecting anything, at all. Figured it was an elite segment of the Spyder community that would be granted special status. Oh well, we are considered future RT buyers and are also great ambassadors for their awesome. BRP products.

Actually there was a survey that was filled out, with a chance to win $5,000. But I never expected a credit, for answering a few simple questions about customer service at the Can Am dealerships. I suppose it does pay, to spend a few moments sharing your intimate thoughts.

The patch and pin will both be worn with pride.
So will my 5,000, 25,000 and 100,000 kilometer pins.

I wear my owner pin on my jacket collar. Looks great too...
