• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP tubing cover for fuel line

As noted by others, 2009 models have tubing cover for fuel line.

Is it O"K/safe to have this tubing cover touching the engine???:helpsmilie:

My fuel line is not short and is a tight fit against fuel filter - all good but it does touch the engine on a sharp corner. Fuel line seems OK now but sure is in a bad spot and was hoping not to have to remove air box-major looking pain the the arsh. Just slip tubing over fuel line.

Your thoughts/guidance is greatly appreciated

Mine is touching the head, but I expect no problems. The corrugations should keep the fuel hose cooler since there is little contact, and I don't expect the tubing to melt touching just a corner of a water colled motor. The tubing will most certainly stop chafing of the fuel line. I will inspect closely for a while, though. I may try to stick a tie-wrap hold-down to the bottom of the airbox, and tie the line back to that, but it is under a lot of tension, and may pull the stick-on anchor loose.
