• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Trailer question

OK, the MSRP on the 622 BRP trailer is $4K, and you can buy it on E-bay for $2.5K+ $600 shipping (fair distance tho).

Why would I want to buy one of these, when I can buy a nice trailer locally for under $1.5K (new), or a tent trailer for under $3K - again locally? Sicne my RTS is BLACK, color matching really isn't much of a problem....

The hitch I understand.

Only reason I did it was because I got a great deal on the package. Plus, it made for a great scam-now video..LOL

I have seen some geat trailers, even pop-ups at good prices since i got mine.

I bought it because I like the matching style, the perfect match of the orbital blue color, the fact that it's made by BRP and won't affect the warranty and ... after the fact ... the way it tows. Never know it's there, bumpy roads or smooth, highway speeds or slower, and it tracks beautifully. Plus, my wife won't camp, even in a pop-up.

whats not to like. The price i felt was reasonable for being able to haul all this extra stuff. I was told they tested it up to 95 mph, and I have been to 85 with no issues, The independent suspension where you can adjust the shocks for the load your'e carrying, and the fact that it is keyed to your bike and has two independent openings. And all the lighting that is powered through the harness. I mean come on, and you found it for 3100 delivered

good luck and let us know what you end up with. I understand if you want to sleep in a trailer and not use a tent, I myself didn't consider that as I wouldn't want that feature even if BRP offered it as an option.

I was one that chose to go a different route, but it was a very hard decision. We pondered for weeks. We elected to go with a tent trailer, but only because I found the exact model I had decided on, that was lightly used at a very, very good price. A new tent trailer will actually cost you more than the BRP trailer. Competing high-end cargo trailers, like the Bushtec, are also competitively priced. The amount of cargo space, the styling, and the superior suspension of the BRP trailer cannot be beaten. This really comes down to choices.

If you are a camper, you need to choose between a pop-up or a cargo trailer and a large tent. If the amount of cargo you want to carry is your main concern, you may want a lighter cargo trailer, although the RT-622 will probably win the cargo bulk contest. If cost is your main focus, there are certainly cheaper, simpler alternatives. If you want to haul around your dearly departed, one might even choose a casket (Tatt2r). :D There is no right answer for everyone. I would own an RT-622 trailer in a heartbeat...although I love my tent camper.
