There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Got a call from BRP a few days ago asking how I liked my Spyder and if I had any thoughts on how the Co.or the Spyder could be improved. Anyone else gotten a call? Greg
Way back when, I believe I got a postcard with a website address to go to to give my opinion on a few specific items. I don't remember what they were but I did get something from BRP asking for customer input.
I got a call a few days ago.
Told him all the good stuff and also the bad - delivery times and scheduling information terrible, web-site sucks. He mentioned with a chuckle that I was not the first person he heard that from.
I got the call last week, told them about delivery and scheduling, and also the riding position, ie the height of the bars, and placement of the pegs, told him I was used to the cruiser riding position, and the only bike I had ever owned where my legs were folded back under me, was my CBX back in the 80's, and didn't like it then, and was then a lot younger.

Got my call a couple of weeks after getting mine. Sorry - guess we cancelled each other out. At 5'3" everything about the Spyder suits me fine. I love to ride in a "crouch" position on all my sport bikes, even, so I ride on my toes on the Spyder to get that "knees bent" position on the Spyder.

My wife (5'2") rides on her toes, too. Hard for me to get used to seeing that...or understand. At least now I can't say she is odd for doing it.

I sometimes ride on my toes too (6'4") just for a little change of position on long hauls. I find that crouch position in general to be pretty darn comfortable.
Wish I'd get one and I haven't gotten one in the mail either and my poor dealer - he hasn't gotten many responses and I know he sold a good number of :spyder:. If I got one I'd tell them how much I like my dealer.
Just got off the phone with them.
Told them that the belt needs a guard to keep the rear wheel from putting gravel on the belt.......it's a problem here in the boondocks of Missouri.

I got my call a week or 2 ago, i've had the bike for about a month now. I told them the issues about the brakes squeeling, a hand brake would have been nice and that they should have a BRP rep frequent the forums and answer questions and take input from their customers We'll see!
