• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP shipping

Was going to order some cruise pants today from the BRP store and got to the point of shipping and oh my goodness. Pants are $239 and shipping was going to be $99.02. Needless to say I didn't order them. I've ordered many times from them and never seen shipping that much. Any recommendation on some other good pants?

Call Honda East Toledo, Maumee Ohio. Site sponsor, info on home page. Have the part numbers handy when you call them.
Then do not post :hun: the discounted price they give you. Just tell us you got a great price.

Try this..!!

cycle gear...cheapcycleparts.com...ebay...amazon. Cycle gear has a great variety if you order online you can return or exchange at any store...

also try eBay. a number of dealers (whether they are supposed to or not - sell apparel heavily discounted there) I bought the $479.99 leather jacket there for $150 shipped to me...

I believe that if you order them through your dealer, the shipping is FOB for you to the dealer.

I refer to your predicament as the "shipping game." Try ordering something and have it shipped to Alaska. :roflblack::roflblack:

Those companies that say they will ship 2nd Day Air only...now lose my business. I tell them to ship normal ground rates and am willing to wait until "whatever" gets here. Been waiting two weeks for some NFL jerseys to arrive by "snail mail."

I guess USA to Canada ranks up there with Lower 48 to AK.

You have to really want it.

Was 1st in line for the 2 pc + backrest Corbin seat for sale here but the $100 shipping put it outside my budget. Coz benefitted from that. GRRR (no offense to Coz)

Yep! The $100 shipping on my Corbin Seat to the lower 48 squelched my sale. I had to eat a whole bunch of shipping to ship a set of Seal Floorboards to IL also.

Easy solution for you both: Move South!! :2thumbs:
Goat,
If we can put up with Justin Bieber down here; you can rest assured that you'll be welcome.
And D,
You've got to be tired of shoveling snow by now...

Believe it or don't--no snow to shovel yet here. I have white frost and about a 10th of an inch of snow on the ground.

Don't think about moving to Hawaii. Getting gouged for shipping is just a way of life here. Hardly anyone want's to ship USPS anymore.

I ordered a jacket from Leather up.com and chaps from Jafrum.com. I'm very happy with the price,
the quality of the product and the service I received from both of them.

That is only $15 more than it cost me to ship a seat from NV to NY. And the jerk I sold it to didn't pay me.

Shipping Scam

I feel your pain . I was going to order an oil drain-plug washer for my tractor.....$1.89 and it weighs a couple of ounces . Shipping was $21.00.........sorry , NO THANKS .

BRP really needs to review their pricing. 99.00 shipping for pants? I can ship a couch for 99.00. I will not buy any accessories from BRP. And when do pants cost 239.00.

In many cases the term "shipping and handling" is just a code phrase for "supplemental profit". It is the same thing as "documentation fees" at a car or motorcycle dealership.

I had a slightly different experience from Leather up. Wanted to order a $89.00 or so pair of pants. They wanted $98.00 to ship them second day air. When I asked them to use ground rates, they said no. Now they are one of my favorite companies to beat up over shipping rates. Have not been to their site since.
