• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Seat Skin

Thanks to Firefly, I got a good deal on a silver/black BRP seat skin. Like most BRP accessories, it is well thought out with simple push pin/body panel plugs to attach it. Also, like most BRP accessories, "simple 15 minute install" is way off, especially if you have anything but a stock Spyder. Instructions must have been written for prototype Spyder, and obviously not for one with the sport rack installed. Instructions say to remove seat lift rod clip when in fact it is held in place by a 13mm nut. Then it says to remove two rear seat bolts and one rear screw. There are two rear seat bolts, but the screw has been repleced by a nut on a bolt that sticks up from the bottom. That one bolt is just tall enough that you can't remove the seat without loosening the rear sport rack bolts. Also, since the Givi racks are in the way, they had to come off. One hour to get the seat off and then the "15 minute install" is right. Another hour to reassemble. I had to laugh at the last instruction; "Seat skin could damage seat vinyl if installed for a prolonged period".

Hope you like it----- also hope those bills you gave me are real---- :joke:.

Glad you got it installed okay ---- let us know how you like it!

Hmm...I thought those bills had a "funny tint" to them :joke:...but, if you believe they're real, go for it!
