Brp RT-622 Trailer Connector

just recevied my hitch from Cycle Giant and relized that the plug on hitch is different the the one on the trailer. The old hitch has been discontinued and the new one has a small square 4 hole female plug. I checked the wiring schematic and the trailer only uses 4 wires so I went to Napa and they had a trailer plug that matched the hitch (the trailer dealer ship had never even seen this style). I will have to cut the plug off the trailer and install the new style which is no big deal

I guess so many people hated the orginal style they changed to this stye that mounts on the hitch rail instead of the underside of the luggage. Just FYI.

You can do it that way, or you can buy new trailer tongue harness (P/N 710003227) from BRP to mate things together. Thanks for letting us know that the 2012 trailer modules are already unavailable. Four different module versions in four years. I hope this is the last variation!
