There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. BRP passenger peg extentions

Not sure when these will hit the streets but they had them on one of their demo Spyders. Looks like they were very well made and thought out.:doorag:

These are the nicest ones I've seen. Look like original equipment. Givi brackets use the same rear holes for mounting, so it may take a longer bolt to allow both accessories to fit.

These look very beefy, I also notice a black steel support brace on the backside. It looks like it connects to the uppper part of the frame. The exhaust also has a lowering bracket.

What I would like to see is a dual position peg. Someone here custom made a set.

My problem with just moving the pegs into a lowered position is if the passenger will have a harder time getting on. With a dual position, the passenger can get on using the higher pegs, then stretch or retract as desired during the ride. I am looking for a solution for my girfriend, she has a bum right knee.

Quite by accident, we discovered a quick solution. With my foot still on the rightside peg, she was able to use the outside of my peg. I am thinking about trying to find a wider peg for my feet that we may be able to share.

I also looked closely at that side and there seems to be a place where the metal behind my peg can be drilled and tapped to add a peg. In the top picture on this post it would be almost in line with where the extended peg is now, where the exaust comes out. If you feel behing that plate, there seems to be a hollow knob that is made to be drilled and tapped.

Any input?

If there is some sort of backside bracket, these may not be compatible with Givi brackets.

If BRP markets them, $200+ would be my guess. Tony's are about $165 plus shipping. And, I will be ordering his if the N-R bags cramp Wife's footing.

Looks like BRP added a reinforcement bracket to the upper peg mount bracket. Did some big boy in testing break the mount while getting on the back...oops

Saw them at the Temecula rally last week.
Very well made, but kinda get in the way of the drivers heal and also the emergency brake. If they made it adjustable or 1"-2" shorter it would be better. I ride on the balls of my feet alot and move my feet around alot on corners.

You know... that's what I was wondering about these extensions. The driver's heels.

Tony: is that any concern at all with yours?

No, the design I have moves the Pegs out aprox 2.5 inches, this gives pleanty of room for the drivers Heels and pleanty of room to access the parking brake. No interferance.

My dealer saw these at the watercraft meet. That should make the wife happy. He was gonna email the pics, of the pegs windshield and seat . Anything on the new seat?

Hey Lamont - question for you as I am a little confused and a lot interested in these passenger extension brackets. Is BRP actually planning to produce/sell these? And who is "Tom"? Does he currently produce/sell one similar or is this his design? Eitherway, I am very interested to learn how to order a set. Thanks as always, Brother Kevin

BRP Can-Am Spyder Marketing -> . Last week at our dealer meeting, we announced the new Passenger ergo peg extensions. These extensions move the passenger foot position down and outward for a more relaxed leg position for longer rides. MSRP is $219.99 in the U.S. These pegs will be available at dealers by late May.

That extra brace lowers the muffler too, maybe somebody's wife melted a heel. Check the right side pic.
