There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. BRP oil - winter grade in the summer?

I just took the drive out to pick up all of the parts I need for my oil change and the dealership gave me the winter grade BRP oil. I asked if this was correct and they said, we put the winter grade in all the spyders. The last dealership I ordered the oil from sent me the summer grade.

Is there really much of a difference, should I be concerned/not use this now?

I GUESS BRP IS THE ONLY ONE THAT KNOWS WHAT THEIR SO CALLED SUMMER AND WINTER BLEND IS. THEY PUT NO INFORMATION ON THE BOTTLES SO KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE WOULD KNOW WHAT THEY ARE BUYING. I DON'T USE BRP OIL AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL.:doorag:

I'm still using the BRP full synthetic, but I think the blend winter grade is more like the full syn (5W-40) while the summer grade may be a 10W-40. Not clear from the bottles, but that's what I was told.

That could very well be true (who knows). I avoid oil that don't list any ratings/standards i.e. API and/or JASO. Makes me think they cannot justify the HIGH price if people knew what they were really buying. Personally, I won't use any oil in a motorcycle engine that does not meet the standards of JASO-MA. I don't have a clue what standards the BRP oil meets and I know the Dealers don't know; Eventhough, they will give you some opinion.:dontknow:
