• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP issues

"Mantanes 85% customer satisfaction"

85% is good? wtf....So a dealer can piss off 15 people out of a 100 that enter the doorway to meet BRP standards .....:yikes:

Does not sound like the BRP standards are very high. 85% customer satisfaction is pretty bad as far as I am concerned. Watch out for the 15% that are not happy. They can do enough damage word of mouth to destroy your business.

I do like the fact that they have to have trained techs and attend classes.

A qualifying order and cheerleading--to me--are not great paramaters for that designation. It should all be about customer service and satisfaction.

I guess we really need to be wary of dealers that are lesser than platinum. Watch out for the copper dealers.

Platinum dealer;
All sales and service trained to brp standers'
Promotes tasteful business practices'
Attends training'
Promotes brp product'
Participates in factory promotions'
Out grows industry growth in area'
Mantanes 85% customer satisfaction'
Completes warranty recalls'
Places qualifying order for current model.

I wouldn't be surprised if the "Platinum" designation came from the dealer's experience/sales of all BRP products. For example, a dealer may have been extremely successful with the company's watercraft for many years before Spyders and attained the "Platinum" based on the watercraft alone.

NO, they have to be platinum for all BRP models they sell...I spoke with my dealer about this and raised the same question...they were taken aback by this...their skills and customer service have to be top notch for all BRP customers...

I went to my dealer on Friday for front tires for my RT. They only had one in stock but said they would order 2 on Friday and should have them in a few days.

Glad that they came in for you, but ONE tire in stock? Don't they know that Spyders have TWO front tires? Not a rocket scientist here, but if I were keeping front tire inventory, I would order three so I could give two to you and then have TWO in sock in case someone wants to replace thier tires.

Sure, why not one tire in stock. You can ruin one tire and only have to replace it.---Not both. Do automotive tire dealers only sell sets of 4, or 2 for that matter.

... or the ones who are only interested in green...
Realizing of ourse that they're not in business for their health, but being mindful of customer needs has to be a major concern..
