• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Homecoming June 2-4

I had signed up for this event right after it was announced. Then when the 2017's were released and BRP dropped the RS I was pissed and wasn't going to attend. I'm still pissed about the RS being dropped (or rather that riding position) but I'm thinking I might still attend the event. Anyway...my question is...

Looking at the agenda it appears that the same activities are happening on all 3 days. The only difference is the night time activities. During the day you are free to pick and choose from a list of activities. Am I understanding this correctly?

I'm thinking I'll just attend one day (I only live 90 minutes away) rather than all three.

These are all the activities, me thinks you can't do this all in one day.

Centre Design & Innovation Laurent Beaudoin BRP Research & Development Centre
BRP Factory
Museum of Ingenuity
J. Armand Bombardier
Yvonne L. Bombardier Cultural Centre

J.Armand Bombardier Manor
Guided Rides (5) Eastern Townships
BRP Care Technical Zone
BRP Showroom
BRP Parts, Accessories & Clothing Sale
Dealer Open House
Local Vendors

I will take lots of photos and share with you what you missed.

I am sure that the night time activities and what BRP has to say will also be awesome!

If all else fails you can meet many spyderlovers and possibly create new friendships. This is a CELEBRATION

However I (ticketBait) will not be signing any autographs:lecturef_smilie:..... for free

We almost canceled ourselves. Wife is having her knee replaced 3 weeks before the shindig. Doc said she can go, but in a car. And we will have to stop every 100 miles for her to get out and walk. Sucks for us, but that's life. Very much looking forward to it. T+A :spyder:

You will just have to stop a few more times than if you were on your Spyder.

How about postponing the surgery? Or is she suffering to the degree that she just doesn't want to wait?

She is bone on bone right now. Has been fighting this for 5 months now. Insurance co. has put her through hell. She volunteered to put it off till after Spyderfest. I did not ask knowing the pain she is in. We get back home on Tuesday, surgery Thursday. Tom :spyder:

Let's pray it all goes well. The majority of folks who I've encountered who had knee surgery were up and moving with little of no pain in a matter of days, several weeks at most.

4-6 hours after surgery they will get her out of bed and put weight on it. :yikes: She will have to walk some also. The second day they will have her move around more to prove she can go home the next day. Doc says he can remove her knee and put in the titanium one in about an hour. :hun: Faster than changing the oil on the Spyder. LOL Tom :spyder:
