• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well first of all thanks to Arctic (Brian) for the heads up on the light set from a dealer hear on the east coast, they were closing them out and I got a great deal, otherwise may of tried one of the aftermarket kits and hoped for a good out come.

I'm glad to say with some small modification to the small jumper harnesses on the oem headlights the 2012 and older HID kits does work on my 2013 RSS. Now if your not comfortable with mods to your new bike maybe hang on and sure there coming out with the HID kit from BRP but no answer when that will be at this point. I had my dealer, the dealer I got the lights from and I called BRP myself and there was no definite answer that they would work so I was the Guinea pig so to speak. I did make couple small jumper harnesses to make sure they would work before I cut up the jumper harnesses on the bike and the ones that came with the lights and road the bike and was happy to say that they work, no errors and NO LIMP in mode :2thumbs::yes::2thumbs::yes::2thumbs::yes:

I have pictures of the whole process if anyone wants to see it.

I'd love to see pics of the install!

Here is a link to my album in my photobucket. Tried downlaoding the pictures from there and wouldn't let me kept getting errors so this is next best thing. Made it a public album so should work for all to see. The loose red and black wires where the 2 jumpers I made to test to make sure the lights would work before I cut the harnesses up. All wiring was soldiered and wrapped, shows disassembly and where there mounted and which connectors that were cut.

I don't see them on my side is there a photo host that works better on this forum I've never had a problem posting with photobucket but they would not work here.

Maybe ill try making the image smaller maybe that's why.
