There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. BRP HELMET

the website shows new brp helmet(givi) has anyone seen one from BRP ... my dealer said they have been backordered from start

I have been looking for one, as I want to try it on before buying it. I have not found any dealer carrying them so far. Alcoa Good Times had one, but sold it before I ever made it there. I am extremely interested in the vented jaw piece for summer ryding down here.

Assuming the scorpion 900 fits your head... so many head shapes... so many helmets...

Love the features of the exo 900, but it feels like someone is trying to drive a spike thru my skull after about 10 minutes.

Guess I bought the wrong head to fit that helmet. :dontknow:

After an HJC IS15, a Symax 2 modular and finally a Shoei Multitec, I've come to the conclusion (as have many others) that you get what you pay for. The $400+ Shoei is not only more comfortable but it is more quiet, the air goes around it more smoothly and it feels lighter (even though I know it's heavier).

I wish you could borrow helmets for a nice long trip before deciding to buy.

We have the ST-1 Hybrid helmets w/BRP comm. We have one solid jaw piece with one more solid and two vented on order. Was told they would be available the third week of Oct. I found a dealer in Florida that gave me 25% off and no sales tax. We really like them, they are so flexible, 3/4 helmet to full face, summer full face to winter full face, all in a couple clips. We carry the pieces in the back bag just in case of weather change. We like the light-weight design and matching colors. We got the info about them from "webbikeworld.com". Fill free to contact me.

We have them, there's a pic in my albums of Deb with her's on.We've got the chatterbox on them more or less pemanantly and we use RF1100s when we ride solo.
The Givis are well made and I really lke the vented jaw when you need it.Quite a bit cooler than the RFs....and they were backordered!

One of our dealers here in Fl have the helmets and both jaw pieces in stock. Seems like they always get the stuff early. Drove thier Commander around the parking lot the other day and was wishing for mud and dirt.

I can't get BRP helmets. I never buy a helmet until I try one on and walk around for a little while. So far my Scorpion EXO-1000 is my favorite, with Shoei Rf-1100 a VERY close second...

I don't think I could get used to the hybrids. I just slip on my shades and flip up my shield if need be.

:agree:

I have heard that before from people that try Scorpions. Something about it being kind of roundish and many skull shapes are more oval. Technically the Shoei is a better fit, but I can wear both confortably and I like the feature set of the EXO-1000 better, even though it is a bit heavier than the shoei...

Of course, Arai is the way to go, but I just can't afford them.

SHARK makes some very nice and light helmets. Except for the Evoline which is nice but very heavy. I have an RSX which is a couple of years old and it's very comfortable. Lots of helmet reviews on Webbikeworld.com.

I really like the Nolan N103. It feels light and I could tell no difference in the sound between that and my Shoei flip helmet. It also has the built in visor that one can use whether the helmet is flipped up or in the down position.

Me and my girlfriend use Vemar Jianos with the built in Blue tooth and they feel and perform very well. A little pricey but worth it IMHO.

i have the same helmet and love it ... but it is a bit heavy for hot summer days ...

Love my BRP ST-1

I love the BRP helmet. It is the first one to actually fit me properly. I also like having both chin pieces and have used the summer one on several highway trips.

I got mine a few months ago from a dealer in Florida.

BRP helmet

I've tried on a dozen helmets, different brands, different sizes, and I'm still trying to find a helmet that works witih my glasses. Our dealer WaterWorld in Medford just got a shipment of BRP helmets in yesterday. I really liked the looks, so I tried on . . . but it didn't work with my glasses either :gaah:

Ever try contacts? I wear glasses most all the time but when doing anything athletic or when riding, contacts really have an advantage...
