Spyder RTs are starting to be delivered and the dealer thinks trailers may start soon. Any hear anything about the electronic accessory availability? Lonnie

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
BRP GPS, CB and XM - anyone get them yet?

I received my RT this past Tuesday. Ordered the GPS Zumo and XM Radio features. I failed to ask the dealer how long it would take. Given the amount of time that others have had to wait on "parts", I would imagine it will be awhile. Hope this helps.:yikes:

Talked to dealer today
Said electronics show Pending in the system and not Back Order. He said we could get lucky and they would come with the next round of Spyders and trailers might be on the same truck but won't find out until next week. I asked about the trailer hitch also and no info yet.
Patience can be a cruel teacher unless you are a masochist and then you enjoy it.

Trailer hitch
Took a close look at the trailer hitch and wiring harness on Friday at a dealer in Southern Ontario. The dealer's tech overheard me talking to the sales guy about hitch particulars and fished one out of the back room to allow me to check it out. They didn't have a trailer yet, but he believes that his display unit should arrive by the end of January.
I was negotiating price on an RT S and trailer so they seemed more than willing to help answer my questions. Now just have to wait for the snow to disappear so I can take the RT out for a spirited run. If I like I buy!

Ordered the GPS and XM radio last week. Today I asked how long it would be before receiving. He said probably February. Hope this helps.

I ordered CB radios for our two RT's that were to be delivered mid Jan.. now delivery sometime in Feb...No word on delivery of the CB's. I have already purchased the Garmin Zumo660 directly from Garmin. Long story as to why. I have spent a couple of weeks trying to get information from Garmin, BRP and my dealer about purchasing the adapter to attach it to the RT...The same way it's shown in all the pictures we have all seen. No one knows anything.. Garmin says.. call dealer..... Dealer calls BRP.... BRP says..."We'll get back to you"... suppose I will have to have one made at my local machine shop. Oh yes.. the Ram Mounts won't work for mounting the GPS at the hub of the handle bars on the RT... More later.. Len

my dealership got my GPS in this week, actualy two of them, he showed me the box when I went in, now just waiting for my Spyder to show up, the truck driver called them and said he was in wisconson Friday and was hoping weather permitting Tue/Wed of this week.

Our dealer in Livermore told me today that he was told that the shipment of trailers and RTs coming on the way to him will have CB, XM, GPS and trailer hitches. Spyder was built a couple of weeks ago and they are waiting for a truck to pick it up and bring it to California. He believes it should be in by the first week of February if it leaves Varcourt this weekend or the first of the week.
Maybe this is good news for many of us. :clap:

Just got the GPS in today. Was ordered on the 15th of this month. (If I recall correctly). XM radio hasn't arrived yet. I told dealer to wait until the XM gets here to install both at the same time. Figured it would be less work that way.
