BRP Givi bags

Is $783 a good price for the bags and that is without the panels? I will have to talk with my dealer on the panels because I can't find them on his website. The Corbins are not for me and I like the Nelson Riggs CL950 but I can see me buying the Givi bags on down the road so I would prefer to put that money on the Givis. Decisions,decisions.:gaah:

Check Twisted Throttle.com and Competition Accessories to see their price for the Givi 35's -- that is what you are getting with the BRP Givi's. the mounting set for the BRP version is better than the version Givi sells on their sights, since you can quick-release the brackets. I bought the color panels ( black) for the bags from CA and saved about $30.
I paid list, installed, for mine. If you're not doing the installation, ask how much that will be also, since there is realignment of the rear turn signals and some holes cut in the top side panel.
Interestingly enough, some of the parts for the bracket installation came with the bags -- so make sure you have all parts before you start!

BRP Saddlebag Panel Kit SKUs

Not sure if you were able to track the BRP Saddlebag Panel Kit information from your dealer. In anycase, I snapped this photo for you. Interestingly, blue is not a color option for the panels. Maybe that's why your dealer doesn't have it on his system (BRP doesn't offer it in blue??).

BTW, I like the color of your Spyder. Is it a custom color?

No that is the stock blue 2010 model on a sunny day. I thought that the blue panels might be an issue but I'm good with black.

I have the stock GIVI's on my Spyder - found them on EB for $550 delivered & brand new. I only remove the bags to clean the bike, so the "easy off" kit didn't matter.

You can find the inserts on EB for $75 + (if you watch for them), and then have them painted - the bags come with an insert, mine were black….

Tell your dealer to match the lowest ebay price and proceed from there...nickeling and diming won't get the bags on your bike...I paid my dealer the lowest price out there and paid them to do the install...happy they're on my bike...they look sharp and fit the bike perfectly...like you, I don't like the Riggs or the Corbins...the Givis are awesome...you'll love them!
