• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP customer service?

Comparing harley parts availability with spyder,I think,is unfair. The majority of HD dealers deal only in HD and as such are able to carry a large inventory of parts.Spyder dealers,at least the ones I've seen, sell multiple brands. There is a local shop that sells only BRP products but chooses not to deal in spyder's.Too bad for me as my dealings there with outboard and sleds has always been positive.

2 1/2 weeks and bike is back.Shifts fine now but grip heaters no longer work.Checked fuses and all look good.Back to shop I guess.Anyone know which fuse exactly heaters are on on an 18?Couldn't hurt to double check!

If it's like the 2014 RT the grip heaters, front and rear, are on the load shedding relay, along with the fog lights and suspension compressor. Do any of the other items work, like the rear grip heaters? If so, then the fuse is good and most likely the shop guys missed connecting the front grip heaters harness together.

Yes,rear heaters work.I kinda figure something didn't end up right with shift repair.Wish there were more dealers around, another 150mi round trip(or 2 !)isn't on the top 10 of things to do!Oh well, hopefully they will be able to expand in the future.

My F3s blew another front sprocket 1.5 weeks ago and still waiting.
I feel your pain.

Or,lack there of!Waiting 2 weeks for parts to fix the downshift problem on my new 18 RT and still nothing!Ridiculous! The only good thing is it gets a lot of laughs from people I ride with who ride anything else!Is this typical or is the issue so widespread they ran out?

I recently had to replace my rear pulley (thanks rocks) and it was about a week to order parts. I wasn't in a rush, so that seemed fair to me. Particularly since it was still riding season and the service wait was about 2 - 3 weeks, unless you begged.

Sounds like this is a stock issue to replace a lot of sold and unsold (before they get on the road) bike. Suspect there's a long lead for parts from the manufacturers overseas (I suspect).
