• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP called and they want their Spyder back

Actually they emailed me and said it is time to give back the test Spyder. I've had it since Jan 2nd and it had 1300 miles on it. It should be really close to 10,000 when I take it back on Tuesday. It had been awesome and performed almost flawlessly. It was great having two 2014s in the garage but it will be nice to have some room to move out there.

I took it in the Ladies trip to NM in Jan and we took it on 2 trips to CA and it is in Tuscon this weekend. Thanks BRP and I hope you don't mind that I ride the heck out of it.

Great while you had it, but you cannot ride both at the same time. I would think it feels better riding yours anyways:ohyea:

BRP Called

Good morning SpyderAnn01:

You said "the Spyder operated almost flawlessly", can you tell us what it did or did not do?

Thanks and be safe out there.

Chief

From the movie Sweet Home Alabama (2002) Quotes “You can't ride two horses with one ass, sugarbean”.

sorry I could not help myself ;) jtpollock

They could send it here for some more testing.....if they would send some decent weather with it. Still snowed in here in Michigan. I'd give almost anything for a Spyder ride.

Ann...it was a great ride as passenger during our trip in Jan......bummer you have to give it back.....Hatfield...me too....I would like to test ride too

RSS owners opinions for RT testing whatha think BRP.

Hey BRP how about offering a RTS to some of us RS riders for testing to get our opinions as to weather we would upgrade to a touring machine, It seems all the testers have been RT owners what you say BRP.

They may be loaning them out to current RT owners, in order to stir-up interest in a market that's already "keyed-in" to this type of bike. ;)
They probably figure that You sportbike guys, just don't like riding around on "Winnebikos"... :roflblack:

I think that BRP should consider some "rugged Alaska Testing." If they send it to my dealer, I could start riding the same day it arrived. HINT, HINT, HINT :thumbup: I have done a lot of miles in Alaska with my own four machines. HINT, HINT, HINT :roflblack::roflblack:

I would even throw in some great scenery pictures. See my albums and signature pics BRP. HINT, HINT, HINT.

The logistics probably are not practical for this part of the world though. :(
