• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Air Deflectors

Just added these to my 2012 RTS. New to forums and new to Spyder.. but so far so good. I can say with certainty that I'd recommend these to anybody who wants the flexibility to open up your envelope or add some air. They work great for both.

Set in 3rd position wide open the push a lot of air across your legs and up in front of you.

Set in 2nd position mid, they seems to add almost as much air but not as much velocity.

Set in 1st position closed, they quiet the air and push it out around myself great

It was 55 degrees when I left home today and by day end it had gotten to lower 70's. Got to try all settings on my 240+ mi ride. Hopefully the pics help to really see how they fit and adjust.

BTW my ride speed was from leisurely to up over 85 and the deflectors stayed in the notch they were set at any speed.

Enjoy.. safe riding to all.

Have a set on my 2012 RT Ltd, i agree these are great and should be a stock item on all RT's

Growing pains. Most improvements over the years are simply an unknown by BRP until identified and noted by enough owner/users. We all know that's pretty normal in the industry. What bugs me is when they come up with an improvement/fix, we have to walk into a dealership with our hands raised (because we're going to be robbed) to realize the benefit. I'm fine with them making a profit but they don't have to make it all in one sale.

I put them on my 2013 RT and they work swell. Word of caution: I practiced putting on my new BRP travel cover and they tend to get caught up in the elastic band. Just be careful when putting the cover on or removing it so as not to snag the $$$ deflectors! Ride on!
