• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brought a pizza home - on the Spyder!

This was something I could never do on a motorcycle - went for a ride this morning, then on the way home, stopped at Papa Murphy's and bought a large pizza, and brought it home in the trunk! It folded up a little at the edges, but survived the 20 mile ride home just fine.

That is awesome! I've carried a lot of stuff in/on the spyder, but never thought I could tote a pizza.

Wife and I went to the farmer's market this morning and were able to take 4 plants and a few bags of goodies home -- all in the frunk. This machine is wonderful!

Never Tried a Pizza. I do regularly use the trailer when my wife and I go to the grocery, Wal-Mart and so forth..Handier than a pocket on a shirt..I've hauled a lot of business relative items (that cant be mentioned). But no Pizza! Have to try it! Guess that's thinking outside the box about how to haul what's in the box...

Did this with the RT on the passenger seat with a 16" pizza, tried it with a 18" pizza it didn't work:gaah: had to be put in a smaller box. Note to self, when picking up pizza be sure to have RT622 attached to pick it up.

Rode Spyder to WalMart to buy a couple of things. NO PROBLEM. Once inside the store, I saw several things I just HAD to have. One of those was an essential. YEP--TOILET TISSUE. 12 pack was on sale. Had to have it. I saved at least 35 cents. As the little girl rang up my purchases, I made the comment that I might have to bring some items back because I am on my motorcycle and there might not be enough room. (Oh, the look on her face. I could see the wheels turning as she is wondering, Where is this old lady gonna put a twelve pack roll of toilet tissue on a motorcycle?) I pay for my treasures and depart the store. I ended up with 4, yes 4 bags, plus the super duper 12 pack roll of toilet tissue. I open the frunk on my bike and I see my FROGG TOGGS rain suit, tool kit, extra shirt and a bottle of water. WHAT WAS I THINKING??? 4 bags and a 12 pack of super duper pooper paper. I take things out of the shopping bags and begin to place them strategically in the frunk. This process went on for about ten minutes and then it occurred to me. I might have to return my bananas and a can of Maxwell House to make room for my PAPER. OK. Think AVA. I GOT IT. I opened the 12 pack (tissue, not beer) and began to stuff a roll in every little nook and cranny of my already overflowing frunk. I had to squash some of the rolls to make them fit, but I got it all in my FRUNK! It is a good thing I did not have an accident on my way home. People that were in the WalMart parking lot that day are still talking about this little episode. I LOVE MY :spyder::yes::yes:

Natty Pack!

How many people out there know that a 30-pack of beer weighs 25 pounds? :dontknow:

Yup, I checked one so I wouldn't be exceeding the 35 lb. limit on the frunk. I'm 7 miles from my Staff of Life supplier, so why run a big ole car just for that? It slips right in there, with room left over for non-essentials like food, and food, or even a little food, in the trunk and saddlebags.

tool bag

I carry a tool bag with me if I ride on a work day. I can carry enough tools to get most jobs done and it was fun getting there and back (where ever there happens to be that day)

Here's my perfect pizza haul method. Eat first half--carry second half home! :roflblack: Never had a fit problem! LOL

Headed down to an antique bike show yesterday with an 18 pak on the rear seat for a buddy camped there with his show bikes. It won't fall off, no need to bungie it, I sez to myself! $11.49 out on the road somewhere............
