Broken front fender bracket

I did on my 08 GS, ….. My shocks when bad and that extra vibration caused one to break ….. two other Spyders later with no issues ….. your cause may be different … good luck …. Mike hyea:

There have been others during my time here. More with the rear fender on the GS/RS/RSS but BRP later updated them. May have been a poor weld but most likely considered a wear and tear item so you may just re-weld or replace it...:thumbup:

This is on a friend's bike. First one side that was replaced, then a couple of weeks later the other side... Just curious if this was something common. Thanks for the replies.

Yes it happens. Same place you describe. But not that common. Mostly it comes down to a bad tire or something else the causes a vibration.

I have on my 2013 RT, I threaded both pieces for 3/8" stud to be screwed together and then welded and painted.
