• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yeah..!!

seen several of late..your profile does not show your model or other information like mileage etc. May be a supplier flaw. Hard to say on a straight section. Bad weld stress...:dontknow:

2013 RT 2300 miles. Got May 5th in Spokane, Roundy's no longer in Business :banghead: but contacted new Couer d' Alene dealership. They will be doing warranty work. Seem to be very helpful.;)

Sorry happended to you. Lots of issues seem to be popping up with the 2013's. My ST is in the shop for fried brake system. Hope can get you up and running soon.

I have 2012 RT and I am getting worried about all these like too hot under seat, boiling gas inside the tank,

Fires, now broken exhaust pipe, what is next?:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

seen only a couple and seem to be 2013 issues

There is another post here somewhere (Not sure where) about this issue. I believe the other one was also a 2013 model.

With all the things going on right now, I am very thankful I bought at 2012 RTS-SE5 in December of last year.

Some major issues so it seems in 2013 model year. Think they (BRP) should also go sign up for that ride in Death Valley and do so with the 2013's and see how they do!

Good luck with this- let us know what you end up doing and find out.

Thanks Showie- I too bought a 2013 RTS from roundy's one week before they closed. I was just a tad distressed tat they didn't mention closing to me. But love my bike . Am on my way to Couer D Alene on the 16th to have electric frunk fixed. good to know they have good mech's there. (reassuring) see ya on the road

@FB, nothing yet. Service guy said waiting on parts but not sure which ones. Have been working all week so pop in tomorrow and see just exactly what is up with my ST.

This has been happening since 2010, here's a 2011 with a broken pipe.

It's the luck of the draw on that I think.

It's not unusual for new fuel injected motors to run a little lean. A white plug can also mean you need to go to a colder plug. Without doing an exhaust gas analysis you're guessing if there is a lean condition and when we use to jet carbs we would shut it down at the rpm we wanted to read the plug at. So if I had a stumble at 55mph at 3500 rpm's I would turn the key off and shut the throttle down at that speed and pull over and pull the plugs to get a true reading.
