• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRIDGESTONE - POTENZA RE92 - P165/65R14 --- IS THIS THE TIRE I NEED?

When owners are suggesting Bridgestone Potenza tires make a suitable replacement for the front-tires of a 2012 RT-S SM5 --- is this the tire they are talking about?

My local tire dealer said he would gladly install on my RIMS if I brought the tires in, but I want to make sure I am buying the right tire.

Thanks!

Yes. It's the right choice. I already had this tire on my 2010 RT-S. I put 37,000 miles on those tires. Very satisfied. My Spyder run smoother, quieter and had more grip than the Kenda crap.

And, when I remove those Potenza, I sold them to a friend who put them on it's Spyder RSS. They still look good for another 10,000 miles.

Can the tire place also balance the tire in your rim?
The local Walmart did the tire rotation (including switching the tires on the rims since the Kendas are directional tires) last year. They also balanced the tires.

The dealership is a Firestone Tire Center and they said they were comfortable they could do all of the work if Walmart was able too. LOL.

I will take the rims and tires off the Spyder and take them to the tire dealership. Guess I will have a final answer soon.
