BREAKFAST MEET & GREET DURING BIKEWEEK??

I just knew you had to be lurking somewhere out there. Decision made. I, along with some others, have decided that it would be nice to have breakfast at the Mason Jar located just south of Umatilla, Flarda. (actually the town's name is Donna Vista) at 9:00 A.M., on Saturday, March 14th.

John if you read this, would you please post the best way to get from Daytona to the restaurant. Perhaps something that will allow for a scenic ride.

Forrest, even though this place isn't a Bob Evans, you are absolutely more than welcome to join us. <smiles>

No Jennifer will not be joining us. She don't even know about it yet wait till she gets home. This whole trip came together within the last hour. I will be flying down and helping a friend drive home from Florida. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone.

Carol and I well see you on that Sat at 9. Ho if anyone would like the tickets to ride around the speedway from BRP will have two of them. we Reg for the Lunch and ride we have be around the track to many times.

We don't see any set day or time for meet ,but if you still have tics would love to have them. In Daytona fri, sat, Monday.

Okay, gang, I'm sorry I haven't posted anything on this. I've had some other issues to deal with. The Mason Jar is located at:
37534 S.R. 19, Umatilla, Flarda

That area where the restaurant is was known (and may still be known) as Donna Vista.

For you folks from up North and West of here who are in Daytona and expressed an interest in meeting, I'd say the best way to get to this place (and Johnny chime in if you have a better way) would be to get on International Speedway Blvd. in Daytona and head west to Deland, Flarda. When you get to Deland, you want to get on SR 44 which will take you to Eustis, Flarda. In Eustis you want to get on S.R. 19 and head north toward Umatilla. The restaurant will be on the right hand side before you get into the city limits of Umatilla.

I know these directions are terrible, but I don't have a map in front of me to give you the specific ones. I will try to get there around 8:30 and I had planned on eating around 9:00. This place does cater to anyone from rednecks (like me), to bikers, to locals. I would imagine on this Saturday that they should be pretty busy.

52 miles to get breakfast :yikes::yikes:, i will have to have breakfast before i leave the hotel, and then breakfast when i get there, and then hope i can get back in time for lunch. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

There's a place in Umatilla, Flarda, called the Mason Jar that might be able to accommodate a group. Years past we had met at Manny's in Bunnell, Flarda. However, I think that Manny's is now closed.

If y'all are interested just "sound off" and let's see if we can start something. I am purposefully not specifying a date and time. Just wanting to know if there is any interest.

I live in Deland, FL so anytime is good. I go to Mason Jar a lot. Good place but can be crowded on a weekend. If I think of another place to consider I'll let you know.
