• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake side floor board that swivels downs... why?

have 2016 RT-S... why does the brake side floorboard swivel down?? and then you push it up to lock in place...
thank you:opps:

That's just so that if you feel the need to really STOMP on the brakes during an emergency stop, the floorboard is released to drop down at the front so it won't get in the way!!

It is handy in those full on emergency situations, but probably not going to be used by most or necessary too often - still, it's better to be there & make that full on emergency stop work for you rather'n having the floorboard get in the way!!

If you're not standing on the brake lever, I know the floorboard will support a bouncing 270lbs... But mash that brake pedal down and it will release as designed.

There you have it....

It is for your safety. :agree: but good reminder to those afraid to ask....
