• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello. 2 days ago I put the extended brake pedel on my 2014 rts and after riding it all day yesterday i was putting it up and my brake lights stayed on after taking the key out.I can pull up on the pedel and the light goes off. Is there a way to adjust the pedel or a switch. Thanks for any help

Add another return spring or replace present spring with a stronger one. If you do an advance search, you will find remedies to your issue.

I find this a bit odd.....since I recently put the larger pedal on mine and it seems to have plenty of return tension to bring it back up.
I wonder if the springs got weaker after a certain year model ?

I have the same issue afew month after installing the big brake padel.

Thanks in advance...Cheers

The video in Post # 3 from Bob will do you fine. Just remember that that video is for RT's; the ST's, RS's are different; the fix still works with the same items, you just have to attach them in a different place on the RS, ST's. and no I don't have any pictures on how I modified mine.

I do remember however that the clip that holds the rod in the pedal doesn't close properly, I put two cable ties on it to hold it down on the shaft of the attachment rod. One would do it, two was for security and peace of mind, for what little I still possess.

Ohh..so do you still change to a stronger spring?

He didn't buy a pedal: he bought the extension that moves the pedal forward and outward. That adds enough extra weight to make the difference.
(I've had two different brands of oversized pedals, and neither of them caused me any trouble!)
