• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It always helps when you tell us what kind of Spyder you have, what year it is, etc.

What bolts?

Bolt holes may not be tapped all the way, someone put the wrong length bolt on that unit, something in the bolt hole, bolt not threaded all the way.

Very strange situation there. Let us know what the fix is.

:hun: What bolts Ron?

reservoir caps

mine have been leaking for a while. i just ordered new ones from our local dealer. 21.95 plus shipping.

Sounds like the mounting screws may be too long. Maybe the o-ring is the wrong thickness. Cap should set on the reseviour with a gap then compress.

My surprise

My bad, brain malfunction. Thanks for catching that. Can I get a Mulligan on that one? :opps:

Sure you can. Your answer just caught me by surprise. Generally you offer sound advise and thoughtful opinions and I wondered where that answer came from.

Well, the dealer said that was just overfilled.

But, to me, how the hell the dealer overfilled it? Careless...

My 2012 RS-S came to me with the low beams set for coon hunting. When I would drive at night people thought I had my high beams on. You think they would check these things eh? No big deal though, easy adjustment and allows me to get a little closer to my spyder.

If I were you, I would adjust it a little lower depending on how heavy you are. 'Cause your weight + setting low beams a little high will shoot the light up sky and will hurt oncoming vehicles.

Oh, yeah, they'll check those things for you.

Just my 2 cents.
