• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I call Greg at Coleman Powersports yesterday at about 1:30 and told him I need my DPS and ECM updates done and was having problems with my brake light. He told me to bring my spyder in the next morning and he would see if the updates take and we would go from there.
I drove the hour and a half to him in the rain and he got the spyder in right away. The updates took. ( witch means now down time waiting on parts). Then they tracked down the brake light problem. Turns out that a mouse chewed the brake light harness and that was the cause of all the problems that I was having. They fixed the harness and I was out the door in under 2 hours and only billed for and hour of shop time.
Greg was VERY knowledgeable about the spyder talked to me about everything that they were doing and very fair. This is going to be my shop of choice now even if I have to drive 1.5 hours to get there. Just so everyone knows that is 1 hour farther than the nearest dealer.
I told Greg about Spyderlovers and hopefully he checks it out and if he does I just want to say Thanks Greg one more time.

That is a great story, and I am in agreement with you all the way. I would gladly ryde quite a bit further to have a shop that knows what they are doing and will take good care of my Spyder. At this point I am ryding at least 2 hours, and then it is a crap shoot as to if the dealer will be a good one or not.

:shocked::gaah::shocked: Glad they fix-it. :thumbup:

You need to buy Greg a moonpie and an RC cola for a job well done.

DEALERS TAKE NOTE

Spyder Ryders will go hours out of their way to find a dealer they can trust. Many of us do this. SO .....TAKE GOOD CARE OF US AND WE WILL TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOU:lecturef_smilie:
