• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyderfest has come and gone my IRON BUTT has come and gone but that pesky winter still lingers on. We just got another 2 inches of that flaky whit stuff. Oops got off track made the entire trip from Castle Rock Co to Springfield Mo no problems with the Spyder or the trailer. Got up Monday to wash the bugs and dirt off no problems even went for a ride around the block. Decided to ride to work got about 5 miles from home and got the e-brake light and text BRAKE FAILUER panic pulled over checked he e-brake it was off headed out and over the next 30 miles the light and text would come on :yikes::yikes: the air temp was in the mid 40’s. Came out after work ha to get home got on the Hwy no problems air temp in the mid 70’s 30 miles down the road as I was getting off the Hwy the light and text is back the rear pads were done at my 30,000 mils service and the dealer said the fronts were fine don’t use the breaks much 60 percent of my riding is on the Hwy the rest is twisties in the mountains. Any ideas :dontknow::dontknow:.jtpollock

Could be low brake fluid in the master cylinder, the fluid doesn't have to be down more than a couple of ounces for the "failure" to show up.

Little checking..!!

most times it is the brake light switch (brake light stays on) the resevoir switches (low level indicators) the fluid levels or the parking brake cable. You had brakes done so that should not be it. Start with those...hope you just need some fluid...

Did you check for a code? I had this happen recently and I checked for the code (not sure if I remember the exact code correctly something like C0039?) but the code said low brake fluid so we added a little bit to each reservoir and no more issues.

Thanks all the brake fluid was down filled and did a test ride no problems. No chance to take a longer test ride as we got another 8" of :cus: SNOW!! Maybe over the weekend should be in the 80's maybe I should have bought a set ski or snowmobile :dontknow::dontknow: jtpollock
