• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake fluid leak

7 Decades

New member
Today was raining started to do some maintenance and saw a wet area on the frame in front of the rear shock. I removed the tupper ware and the upper frame in front of the reservoir had a area that the paint had started to blister. I could not find a leak . Two weeks ago i had it to the dealer to bleed and install new fluid. Because i had to pump the pedal. I know that is not right with abs brakes. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.:yikes::yikes::yikes:

Check to see that the caps have the vent facing rearward (12:00 o'clock, if you can), regarding the leak.

As you surmised...brake fluid leak. The dealer could have merely spilled, or could have damaged something. I'd say it is up to him to make it right, and I'd take it back and complain.

As you already experienced that brake fluid does a number on paint I would have it back to the dealer and have him make it right .
