• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake Faults

I have a brake failure indication on my 2012 Can Am Spyder RT, I found out that the float in the reservoir was sticking, I fixed that the fault went away, I decided to flush the brake fluid, I accomplished that task. Now the brake failure indication is back. I check the floats again and they are good ( not sticking). I downloaded a maintenance manual, Does anybody know where I can purchase a B.U.D.S cable.

Not sure about that cable but my dealer reset the computer in 5 minutes for no charge when that happened to me. Anyone who has the BUDS to do alignments could do that reset for you as well.

It would be much cheaper and faster for you to go to your dealer to have the code cleared. BUDS will set you back around $1000.

Agree..!!

If you tried the key removal and computer reset (waiting 30 or so minutes) then let the dealer clear the codes for you. Now if you get but then off the service to others to pay for it...:roflblack::roflblack:o

Press the brake pedal down till you hear the second click a couple of times and remove the key and come back after a minute and trie again ,with the key to the on position but not started , or PM me

FAULT CODE: C1282

I have had that code for over a year and have cleared it but it comes back I do have brakes. Still looking for a fix.I know it comes on when I hit the parking brake and have my foot on the brake pedal.

Took my Spyder to the dealer and had to change the rear brake pads and then they changed the battery for a communication problem
after all said and done $500 later.
