• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just finished doing a 30.000 mile everything. New tires all around. Oil and Trans oil change and new filters. New wires and spark plugs ( all this from Bajaron } took the front end off so I can grease all fittings checked radiator. checked all around the spyder and also put on new brake pads front and back. 14750 miles backs were in need. Front not 1/2 gone. ( ride 2 up and pull a trailer a lot ) Put it all together and started it up all fine. Took it out to get oil in trans and come back to top off, while out got the brake fault. Light on dash for parking brake notice that the light stayed on. tried to adjust p brake nothing. spyder rolls easy no drag at all. Looked at the P brake and when not engaged it spins around makes contact with the switch. Checked the fluid level, think it is right that is hard to guess. anyone have a trick to get it right between the min and max. Any help or advice is needed. I have know idea. :banghead::banghead::banghead: Thanks for taking the time.

Top it up I notice mine goes somewhere no leaks apparently dealer couldn't find any 36k on a 12RT on 3rd set of rear pads 2d fronts. I have deglazed them and put brake quiet on back of the pads keep em quiet and made sure all moving parts are properly lubricated as well as parking brake cable adjusted. Still wind up adding an oz or 2 every month and a half or so.

These bikes are unbelievably fussy about brake fluid levels. nojoke
I'd take another close look, and be prepared to add some... use an eyedropper if necessary!
(That way, you can also suck some back out, if the level gets a bit high!)

Here is the answer to the Question

AS I said I did all of the the work to the bike that i said, here is what went wrong. When I did brakes on all THREE WHEELS and put the bike back together. I started it then stepped on the brake pedal to pump up the brakes. THE BRAKE PEDAL HAS TWO SENSORS ON THE POSITION LEVER THE FIRST TELLS THE BRAKE LIGHT TO COME ON AND WHEN IT GOES TO FAR DOWN IT SETS THE BRAKE FAULT. So talked to the local tech where I get all my parts and they told me to bring it in, and they took the fault out of the computer for me. took them all of about 2 minutes did not charge me. SOOOO if you change your brakes and pry them open so the new ones fit. Make sure you pump the brakes with the key out of the spyder. Hope this helps some of you , then again I knew better and still did it. :banghead::banghead::banghead:
