• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake Failure message

I've received a "Brake Failure" message and after topping off the brake fluid reservoir I'm still receiving the message. Any help on how to reset the message on the cluster would be helpful. Thanks

Brake Failure Warning

This has happened to me twice in the last two months... you gotta go to a dealer to get the message cleared. BTW, was your failure warning immediately preceeded by a brief brake failure?? This happened to me both times. My pedal bottomed out with no brake power at all, then grabbed on the second frantic stomp! I was told it could be caused by lightly "riding" the brake pedal, but I'm very careful to keep my boot clear these days. Freakin' scary when it happens.

If the message did not clear, your problem still exists. You do need to see a dealer, but not to clear the codes...your Spyder needs repair.

I got my brake failure warning on the display to clear by unplugging both sensors from underneath the brake fluid reseviour and plugging them back in while the key was on. BOOM, warning cleared, have not seen it since.
