• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

brake failure code !!

Yes, twice: low level brake fluid and second time when the front pads wear.

My Spyder came up with the Brake Failure code on the trip to LA for the BRP
celebration. I still had brakes and I checked the fluid so I conitinued on and
it remained on for my trip home. I took it to my dealer and thy found that the pressure for the brakes was low. They bled the complete system and it was cured. I must admit the braking before the bledding of the system was not spectacular. After the braking was remarkable.

Yeap I had this problem as well when I first bought the Spyder,, It was the fluid level,, Very sensitive toward the low mark... I thought mine looked good but it appears it was just a tad bit low..

I got this problem on my red SE5 with 4,500 miles on it. Taking it into service tomorrow. Most likely what others are describing.

Speaking of the front brake pads. How do they come out?? I took the caliper off tried to take the pads out but they are attached with a rods & springs. Never seen anything like that before. I've changed many car & truck pads. I've had the rear pads out several times triing to get rid of the Squeal--ha ha ha ha joke- joke still there. Good Advertising for BRP--jet airplanes are just as noisy, everybody is looking at you when you come to a stop. How embarrassing!!!!!:mad::mad::cus: :cus:

I have had a few since I put the isci handbrake on, I found out that if was my foot and shoe was under the foot brake and the cpu was going nuts when the foot brake was suppose to go down but could not. Of course I could not feel this just figured it out looking around when I get the error.
