There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Brake Adjust

So on my 2014 ST-S with the ISCI Hand Brake (my only means of stopping) had become very slow to stop with no bite whatsoever. So I decided that the old pads and or rotors were not sufficient. Bought some ENB Sintered Pads and Rotors from Baja Ron and put them on( easy process by the way ) the braking was not any better. The hand brake does not create the same amount of travel as the foot brake. So I learned how to adjust the the Spyder Master Cylinder and I have great brakes again.

I will say the adjustment bolt is in an multiple cuss location.

Just thought I would share that, as no one suggested this solution when I mentioned my braking issue problem before.

Ready for more myles of smyles.

Really😲

Found out how to adjust the brake and all your gonna say is it's in a cuss worthy area of the spyder.....:yikes::roflblack: I am gonna assume that you are talking about the Yoke, jam nut and the piston rod. There is some adjustment there. Had you taken a pic or two and posted them with this thread it may help others that are having problems with pedal height and travel...never-the-less really glad you found a way to make the hand brake work properly for you....

This is a photo of my ISCI handbrake slave and the only adjustment that I am aware of. From what I understand you set it until the brake light actuator triggers the brake light on, then back it off sufficiently to allow the actuator to turn off, then tighten at that spot.

No that adjust makes the lights come on, it was the adjustment on the bikes master cylinder.
:2thumbs: thx for the info.
I went to cheap cycle parts to look at parts view & think I see some adjustment room on piston, however can't seem to post the pic :dontknow::banghead: between parts #6-#25

I’d like more info on where to adjust it too. I have the handbrake too and it’s the only way I have of stopping and I’ve never been pleased with it. When someone else gets on the bike they say they can stop a lot easier with foot pedal compared to handbrake. I’ve adjusted where the brake light will come on then I backed off but it still isn’t good enough.

I’ve been thinking about the sintered pads also. Just wondering if anyone has an opinion why installing those didn’t improve your breakng.
