There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Boy, This will Knock Your Socks Off. Bob Hope

 WOW!
What a great video! :2thumbs:
What a great entertainer! :firstplace:
Thanks for putting this one up in here for all of us!

Wow, this video is the most moving I had ever seen. In my 21 years of service I was lucky enough to see different entertainers who would visit the military out of country. It is something that you never forget. To borrow a line from the great man, PCBeachBum, Thanks for the memories.

Bob Hope was one of the special people that gave so much of his time and effort to the troops. He continued the process every year until he was no longer able.

The greatest honor in my life was to have met Mr. Hope and got to shake his hand, 1969, 93rd. Evac. Hosp. [on duty] Vietnam.

Two generations of HOPE

My father was one of those who saw his '44 show before Peleliu. Twenty four years later one of his sons (me) attended his "Operation Holly" show.

Thanks for the memories.

He is most likely entertaining all the troops that did not get to see him while they were on earth, as we speak.

One of the greatest, if not the greatest ever!!

I got this from my brother and knew I had to share it with all my friends on Spyder Lovers. I know there are a lot of Vietnam Vets on here and knew it would bring back a few good memories from a place where most only remember the bad, including myself.

Navy '69 to '72.

Yes it does. :( All of them took time to entertain troops all over the world and never took a penny for it. I have a cd I found of one of Bing Crosbys radio Christmas shows from Kraft Music Hall. I dig it out every year and listen to it. My brother was in Viet Nam in '68/69, he got to see one of Mr. Hopes shows. GrumpyBob, I'm sure you're right, and my late father-in-law is there watching. He served on the Hornet in WWII. I did get to see other entertainers in my career, most notably would have to be Roy Orbison. Front row seats at RAF Mildenhall UK 1982. To my Brothers, Welcome Home.
