• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this site. Your info helped me decide to buy a Spyder - so I bought a red M5. Picked it up last Saturday from the dealer in Portland. %#$%$### - an out of the box failure going down I-5 10 miles from the dealer. The thing just quit running. Got on the phone - got help - got a truck and trailer - back to the dealer. The service tech found a lose wire in the ignition circuit. Back on the road in 30 minutes. I am very pleased with the service I received from the dealer. I understand that out of the box failures are out of the dealers control. Unfortunately it has been snowing or raining since Saturday - but I am ready now and just waiting on the weather.

:congrats: on your :spyder2: i too have a red sm5. Sorry to hear about your out of the box issues. Mine had a couple out of the box issues but She's all better now.

Been to Portland a few times...great place!

:congrats: on your new :spyder2:. You're going to love it once the weather cooperates. Sounds like you've got a good dealer. Hopefully you won't need that but it is a great thing to have available.

Lamont...how about a post/poll to find out how many Spyder's were purchased because people read about them here at SpyderLovers.com. Seems like it has to be a significant number.

Congrats on your new Spyder pathfinderjoe. May that loose ignition wire be the only problem you have.

Congrats on your red M5...I love my M5...nothin' like hittin' the clutch, changing the gears, and feeling like you're part of the road (as long as we don't actually become part of the road)...

Enjoy and be safe...
