• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Boss Audio Install FM static

Installed the Boss audio in the F3s with FM. Without the engine running, sounds great, however with the engine running, nothing but static. The aux with the mp3 player (not blue tooth) sounds fine with precorded music but again, not with FM. I suspect it may be interference from the plugs, any ideas to enable me to listen to my FM stations without distortion?

I had this happen on my RT ...great reception UNTILL I turned on the motor .......... I discovered it was because I had swapped my Halogens for LED headlites :banghead::banghead::banghead: ...... PS my LED's have FANS to cool them, I don't know if that matters ....... Mike

Mike, thanks for the reply and yes I have the LED headlights. Sounds as if I'm stuck with no FM.

Lamont said he has some noise filters that he uses for LED's that have problems creating noise. The ones he sells don't cause a prob but in working on customers bykes that have other LED's he went and found some and stocks them so he could resolve that issues when it arises....

The LED's that Lamont sells DON'T HAVE FANS IN THEM ..... so whether that filter will work with a FAN cooled LED hasn't been figured out yet .... I posed this problem weeks ago and it wasn't decided then ...... just a thought .....ASK Lamont ........... Mike
