• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry that is a picture of my 2012, have not posted any pictures of my timeless black 2014 yet.
actually it's been so long since I was on Spyder Lovers I have forgotten how to post Pictures!:dontknow:

When you're typing your reply in that box, above it is about three lines of commands///
The middle line (The one with the B,I, and U) is where you want to be...
Go to the fourth box of commands, and the third one from the left ( a picture of a tree) is the one that you hit.
Once you've got that up and running, just follow the command prompts, and you should be good to go!

Bear with me...

This may seem like a stupid question...but where would I find my "Born On" date for my 2012? I'm trying to figure out whether or not I had my Radio updated. That way I know which ipod cable to purchase. Oh, and sorry for the Hi-jack!

Look on your swing arm on the left side toward the rear of the bike, same place you will find your vin#. Hey not a problem!

This might not be correct. Let me explain. I first saw my new Spyder at my Ohio dealer on January 23, 2014. The date posted on the swing arm reads January 20th. It would be impossible for that Spyder to have been completed on the 20th, packed for transit, shipped and assembled in only three days! There are several stickers placed on various parts of the frame with bar codes and a date that reads January 6th. My guess is that my build date was January 6, 2014.

Or...
If you still have the paperwork; the date that your bike was built is also on the Manufacturer's Statement of Origin. :2thumbs:
You got that, when you bought the bike.

M.S.O.s are produced for each vehicle that a manufacturer builds.
Here In New York; the title (proof of ownershop), for the vehicle contains all of the information from the M.S.O.
In Ohio; do you get a title for your vehicle?

Thanks for the help

I got the information I needed. And to think, I went about it the wrong way. I did, however, find my date. Thanks for all the responses.:D
