• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have had the KM highway bracket installed for a few weeks now and I am thinking of installing the links. I know you've had problems with the link turning. I was wondering if you tried a longer bolt so that you'd have a locknut on both sides?

If you have or someone else has and it doesn't work, I won't bother with the link.

I'm just trying to get the pegs more forward. After using the highway bracket/ pegs for a few weeks, I feel I would be much more comfortable with my knees extended.

I modified the links and to keep them from turning, got them in the position I wanted and vise gripped a 1/4" square piece of steel in the joint. Removed them still vise gripped and welded the steel in place. If done correctly the links will not rotate with your feet on them, but will rotate back to allow the side panels to be removed.

I don't weld. I guess I'll try a longer bolt with lockwashers on both sides.

I bought some 1/4" flat bar at Home Depot and made my own links. I made them longer for the foot position I wanted and also long enough to drill through the flat bar and bracket and add a 2nd bolt (1/4" has worked fine) so the link couldn't pivot.
