I can drive 50 mph in 6th. The tach is running at 2850. If I need a surge of power--I only need to twist the throttle. The 1330 will "get up and go!"
:agree:
I think the beauty of the new engine and SE6 transmission is that there are no right or wrong shift points. I may shift at 3500nrpms while someone else shifts at 2500rpms the only thing that decides what shift is correct is the spyder. If the RPMs are too low for the next gear the spyder will not let you shift until the rpms are raised. I am not speaking about performance and shifting but just general riding and shifting. This is just my opinion and what I have noticed while reading the comments throughout this site about shifting gears in general.
