• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bob Denman SL withdrawals?

I've been thinking about Bob going to SpyderFest next month. He will be on the road many hours without being able to post on SpyderLovers! Those riding in his group should look for signs of SpyderLovers withdrawal symptoms...

They may notice cold sweats, numbness in his fingers, uncontrolable trembling, spasms in his legs or back, twitching of the eyes, loss of appetite, loss of memory, over eating, watering eyes, it may be hard for him to focus, heart palpitations, body rash, hallucinations, he may disappear at gas stops, etc.

If you see any of these symptoms, get him in front of a computer/iPad ASAP. In about 30 minutes he should start to feel better and can resume riding.

Can anyone else think of some withdrawal symptoms his fellow riders sould look for?

Seriously, I'm looking forward to meeting Bob and many other SpyderLovers next month!

Mabe Bob is not a real person, mabe it's a super computer doing all these blogs. It would be a full time job for a real human to do all these blogs.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Or they could also be produced by the cold weather that we may be riding in!!!!:banghead:
:roflblack::roflblack::dontknow:

I'm going to hook up a Hot Coffee, I.V. drip for the morning's ride!
Now if I can work out the Bathroom break issue...

So Bob got all the way to 19,999 posts and now he's at 19,985? Is Lamont messing with him? I think his post count is going in reverse now! Not that anyone is counting.

I think that he might be pulling my leg a bit... ;)
But who's to know for sure? :dontknow:
...Got to 20,002
Back to 19,981
Up to 19,995
Back to 19,971
Up to 19,980ish
down to 19,953
up and back some more
I feel like a ping-pong ball...

There is always "Depends", Bob, or we could go with some small plastic tubing that I have hanging in the garage and a large empty soda bottle. Your choice......but it will be all on your shoulders for application of either soloution!!!:yikes::roflblack::roflblack:

In Otter"s words......Just sayin...........

Maybe I'll buy a headband that'll hold a couple of decent-sized (1 quart each!) amount of coffee and use fuel line for the delivery system...
Kind of like those Beer Hats that are so popular at baseball games..

Watch for..!!

The teleprompter scrolling on his windshield and the voice typing through the head set. I will be watching the SL site for postings during traveling times...hope to make the trip next year...:roflblack:

How about bringing along a lap top with WI FI? Then, at designated stops or at mealtime, Bob can update us on the travel to Spyderfest. I am guessing it would be a big hit with us who have to stay at home and wish we were there.

I actually AM going to try and pack along an ancient Dell laptop so that I can send pictures home to the Missus... ;)
Well... maybe not ALL of the pictures! :roflblack:
