Thanks to Stevedfive I now have a working bluetooth system! The instructions that came with the bluetooth cable are wrong so the cure is simply to switch the harness from the lower wire coming out of the CB to the upper one. Naturally, to get to the plugs you need to remove most of the panels on the right side and loosen the trunk enough so to allow it to be lifted up to get you hands up to the burried plugs. Now I can hear in coming calls and they can hear me back! lol....
Steve had seen my earlier post and contacted me with the solution. He was very patient and knows the communication system well due to his own trials and tribulations relating to the same problem.
