Bluetooth heat problem

My bluetooth interface or one of the related components appears to have a heat related short or something. It works when the key is on, the engine is not running and the engine is cold. The bluetooth also works when the engine is running and the temp is cold (1-3 bars on temp gauge). But when the engine gets warm or hot and has been running for a while (4-5 bars on the temp gauge), the microphone reverts to the one on the Zumo . Even if the engine is off but hot, the helmet mic still will not work, only the GPS mic. Any ideas?

PS: The intercom works perfectly, so it's not the helmet headset.

Have you tried to pull apart the connections for the dongle and then remake them ?

Maybe something there isn't quite connecting properly.

Man that stinks. Especially after all the effort you put in to making it work.

Opened it up and all connections seem to be in order.

Fixed! The Garmin harness had to be replaced. The female plug that connects to the BRP male plug was bad.

Also, BRP does not carry the individual pieces to the navigation kit. I bought the harness from GPS City and gave it to the dealer.
