• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BlueTooth antenna - where is it? 2018 Can Am Spyder RT

I have a 2018 can am spyder RT Limited
I have a Pack talk bold mounted to the left side of my modular helmet.
When I play music to my helmet, Some times when I turn my head to the left, the music stops.
When I turn my head to the right the music plays fine.

Where is the Blue Tooth antenna located on the bike.
Can it be moved to another location, or is it located in the dash?
John

Doubt it's the Bluetooth, may be something mounted in/on the helmet Is being bumped by shoulder or something. Especially if it only happens in one direction. Double check the mount & wires are secure. Should be able test it off the bike - hopefully pairing won’t become problematic.

My Packtalk Bolds did the same thing, could never figure it out so I paired with phone only and had no more cutting out. Spyder Bluetooth seems week.

I know of 4 people who have Cardo Packtalks, myself included that have that same problem. I ryde a 2020 Spyder RTL the other 3 ride motorcycles of the 2-wheel variety. It is "NOT" a Canam or BRP problem.
