Earlier this week, here in Northern Illinois, we had some temps in the 20's and more than a dusting of new snow. I was ready to put Stabil into the RT and say goodbye for the winter. But I decided to wait before taking that drastic step. Today it was almost 70! With blue skies and dry roads. Went out for a two hour, 70 mile ride that was as nice as any I have had all season. I could live with this "Global warming" all year round, but I know that won't happen. Most years it is right about now, mid November, that whatever motorcycle I have is put to bed for the winter. Stabil in the gas tank, battery tender on the battery, a rag stuffed in the tail pipe to keep critters from nesting, and maybe a cover over the bike until at least mid-March. But maybe this year will be different with a chance to have an enjoyable ride in early December, and an early Spring in early March for only a three month hibernation.
