• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Blue Ridge Day Ride.

Love the BRP and sounds like a great time. Drive just a little farther south on the road and check out Craggy Gardens, for my money the prettiest spot around

Thanks. We will be heading up that way in a mere 24 hours. Really looking forward to the trip.

Im jealous. I can't wait to get back with the wife this time. Thinking about making a weekend of it and staying at the Little Switzerland Inn for a night or two. Its right at the top of the diamond back.

Next time, go a little past Boone and Mountain City and do "The Snake" The road isn't quite as smooth as the Diamond Back, but it is still good riding. From there you can also do the "Back of the Dragon" and other roads near Damascus. Then on your way home you can ride the Diamond Back and then go a little further south and do the Rattler (not sure why they name them all after snakes). Don't forget Moonshiner 28 on your way back into S.C.. There are so many roads in the area that I never have enough time to do them all. I normally just do about 3 on each trip and start over every 2-3 years. Hope to see you at the Rally in October.:2thumbs:
