• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BLACK HINDLE

I painted my stock muffler all black and I think that makes it look better also.

I am going to be painting the heat shield on mine red. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe tonight.

I like the flat black. :2thumbs:

tatt2r - Over time, you may find that the grill paint will burn off. If it does, here what I wound up using on later versions of my mufflers and pipes... holds up very well:

Looks great. Anything on that Spyder that isn't black is really going to end up standing out very nicely.

+1. Its what I used to paint my stock tailpipe black. After over 1,000 miles, it still looks good.

Speaking of heat shields - anyone else have the smaller heat shield on the Hindle coming loose? Mine rattles around a bit - didn't notice until I rode sans helmet.
