• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Black Hills Ride

Big Arm

New member
I got an offer from my son the other day that I couldn't pass up. He lives in St. Paul and had a job to do in Rapid City, S.D. so I put the spyder on the trailer and met him in Sioux Falls, and hooked up to his truck there, and headed out for a couple days of riding, while he worked.
I took a ride thru the Black Hills yesterday, can't say it was great, because I battled 40 to 50 mph winds all day, but overall, I had a great time by myself. This is just such great riding country, that I always enjoy coming up here. Just thought I'd share a few pics.

One of my favorite rides. Black Hills was my first cross country motorcycle ride. Hope you also made it to Devils Tower, Badlands National Park, Stopped at Wall Drug, and rode the Needles Highway. I am desiring to get back there and do it on the Spyder.

The Badlands National Park was a high light of mine while I was there, Mount Rushmore second but I did love the whole Badlands experience.. Ride safe and have a good time Larry..

Don't forget poor Crazy Horse:lecturef_smilie:

Hubby and I are headed that way from Tennessee on our bikes - he on his Goldwing - after Sturgis. We will stay two nights in Spearfish and then camp for seven nights at Custer State Park, then head for Badlands two nights, then home. Looking forward to seeing what you have posted in real time.
