There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When I had my RS I tried the BP touring shield, didn't care for it. Then bought a CHAD shield, it was better but still not quite enough wind protection for my liking. I see Madst ad engineering now has their system with different size shields avaliable. They look good on the RS and I think they do a good job being that they are fully adjustable. Maybe somebody with one will answer what they think about them.

you can get 4'x8' sheets....:roflblack::roflblack: have seen many with cut outs so as to be able to turn the bar and over their heads (not a good idea). They just find them and modify them. As for specially made I don't know more than those mentioned. Try Twisted Throttle I got my sport with the flip extension from them...:thumbup:

MINE IS THE LARGEST
I put a Gold Wing 1200 windshield mounted to the handlebars of my 2008 GS.....I think it was 472 sq.inches .......You can see it here ....advanced search tool......"
