• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK dates are set for our Big Bend trip. Leaving March 19th and staying in Junction, TX that night. On through Fort Stockton and down through the Davis mountains to Alpine. Saturday make the river road loop which is about a 300 mile day. Return the same way and back in town on the 23rd. This will be Mike's first long road trip on his new Spyder. Two Spyders and a Harley so far. Posting to see if there is any other Spyder Riders interested in making the trip. Would like to know and see if we can get any discounts at hotels on the way. Made this trip several times and is a great ride.

If at all possible, pick someplace other than Junction to gas up. If you do have to refuel there the Shell on the south side of 1-10 was cheaper (just a few days ago) than the stations on the north side. The north side was 3.15 for regular while most folks on our way down US83 were in the 2.59 range. IIRC the Shell was about 2.89.

Sounds like a neat trip hope you have a good time.
